Breathe

Breathe is a short film proof of concept for a feature-length film. When Marvin comes home from work one day, he discovers that not everything is as it was when he left - it seems that the air outside isn't for everyone anymore. Welcome to your new favorite Twilight Zone-inspired reverse Handmaid's Tale.

Feature Synopsis:
One day, Marvin comes home to find his wife and daughters performing a mysterious ritual. Shortly thereafter, they vanish, leaving him trapped — he can't breathe beyond his own front porch. Along with neighbors Wayne and Ronald, he discovers that men everywhere are confined indoors, while women can move about freely. Unknown to them, the women have enacted an ancient plan to save humanity from man-made climate change, violence, and societal collapse by forcing men inside while they rebuild a better world.
